You will receive the exact basket shown at the time of your online purchase in the Lionnes de la Téranga shop.
Please note that the colors displayed on each device depend on your screen’s color calibration, and like all handmade items, small imperfections may appear — they are also part of the beauty and authenticity of your purchase.
If your baskets need reshaping after being slightly bent during transport (which is completely normal), please refer to our tutorial. It is very easy and fun to reshape our baskets and restore their original shine.
RETURN POLICY
Our return policy is effective for 7 days after you receive your purchase.
There are 3 reasons for which you may request a refund :
- you received the wrong basket(s) (not the basket(s) you ordered)
- your basket(s) was/were damaged during shipping.
- A high-quality photo of the damaged basket(s) and a high-quality photo of each side of the shipping package must be sent to us within 7 days of receiving your order.
- your basket was defective (or damaged during packing) and we did not notice it before shipping
Once we have verified that the basket(s) was/were indeed damaged during shipping or before shipping (and after having shipped thousands of baskets over the years, we are very skilled at identifying whether damage occurred during transport or not), we can begin the return process.
However, it is possible that LIONNES DE LA TERANGA may offer an alternative solution that would also benefit the customer, one that is faster, more efficient, and more satisfying than a refund.
To complete your return, we require a receipt showing proof of purchase.
- The return shipping costs for the damaged basket(s) or the wrong basket(s) received will be at the customer’s expense.
Refunds are not available for:
- damage to your basket(s) during delivery,
- claims made more than 7 days after delivery.
After considering other alternatives or solutions that may satisfy the customer and once your refund is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 15 business days.

- Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. Processing time is often required before a refund is completed.
- If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.
